Bali International Cricket Sixes

Cricket Bali in cooperation with Cricket Indonesia (CI) organises the Bali International Cricket Sixes tournament every year on the Easter Weekend, at the Bukit Udayana Oval in Jimbaran, Bali. Having successfully organised this tournament for the last 10 years, this tournament has undoubtedly become a very popular tournament in South East Asia.

The Bali International Cricket Sixes Tournament is considered one of the favourite tournaments for cricket clubs with regular participation from teams from Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia. Apart from the overseas teams regular Jakarta and Bali based clubs field teams in the two day cricket carnival. The tournament is made popular by the excellent hospitality Indonesia has to offer.

Date:               Friday 22, Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 April, 2011
   (Easter, 2011)
 
Playing Time:  Friday           8.30am to 5.30pm
                         Saturday      8.30am to 5.30pm
                         Sunday         9.00am to 1.00pm – Finals then lunch and presentations
 
Note:              A two-day tournament is proposed with finals on the third day, Sunday, but we are aware this may not suit some interested Clubs who are to travel on the Friday, so we are seeking your confirmation of the days that you will be able to participate. The Friday will be a full day for those able to be in Bali to play on the Friday, even if only for part of the day.
 
Location:        Udayana Oval  -   Bukit Peninsula, Bali.
                        A location map enclosed.
 
Teams:           The tournament is planned for a maximum of 12 competing teams. A team can consist of only 6 players; however up to 10 may register per team.
 
Rules:             The rules will generally be as for the previous Bali 6s Tournaments.  
 
Closing Date for Registration:          
                        Closing date for the Tournament is 28th February 2011 . We have a limited number that we can cope with. Thus it suggested that teams who wish to compete send the acceptances with funds asap. Also early registration ensures logos will be placed on T shirts.

Accommodation:
                             We can organise accommodation in the area of the Bukit. Our preferred accommodation is at Kingfisher Udayana Eco Lodge (The home of Udayana Cricket Club. They can accommodate 14 share twin rooms (28 people). Discounted rate Rp500,000 per twin including breakfast.

Dinner planned:         
  • Saturday 23 April at The Udayana CC, Udayana Kingfisher Eco Lodge one km from the ground from 6pm
  • This is the Bali 6s dinner and the meal cost for 10 persons/team is included in the entrance fee. Additional persons. A  payment of Rp 200,000 is requested for the three course dinner + coffee/tea.
